Integrated Academic Studies in Pharmacy last 5 years and include 10 semesters of active training that is done in the form of lectures, practical training and other forms of training (seminars, round tables, summer internship, research study).

The total student engagement throughout the Integrated Academic Studies in Pharmacy (active training, continuous training programs, exams and colloquia preparation, and final written exam preparation) equals 300 ECTS credit points. Total number of credits in one academic year must be 60. Students get ECTS credits after passing the exams. When a student has finished all the courses and passed all the exams that are prescribed, he/she starts working on graduation thesis and studies for the oral examination. The number of ECTS credits earned in the students’ graduation thesis is included in the total number of credits required for completion of the study.

According to the Article 98 of the Law of Higher Education and the Rulebook of Student Admission to the study programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Novi Sad, will announce the call

FOR THE ADMISSION OF STUDENTS TO THE FIRST YEAR OF INTEGRATED ACADEMIC STUDIES OF PHARMACY IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024/2025.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Novi Sad admits thirty (30) students to the first year of Integrated Academic Studies of Pharmacy in English language for the school year 2024/2025. in the status of self-financed students.

The candidates who have gymnasium, high school of medical professions, or high school for veterinary medicine in a 4-year duration or other relevant 4-year high school diploma may apply for admission to the first year of Integrated Academic Studies of Pharmacy in English.

The candidates responding to the call should submit the following documents:

  1. Filled Application form (available at the student office or here).
  2. Secondary school Diploma (in original language and notorized translation into Serbian).
  3. Secondary school transcripts of grades for each year (in original language and notorized translation into Serbian).
  4. Proof of recognition of secondary school documents or written confirmation document submission issued by Agency for Qualification Recognition in Belgrade (The final decision must be submitted to Faculty after completion of the process). **
  5. A passport photocopy.
  6. Birth certificate.
  7. Proof of payment of the Entrance exam fee (50EUR). For the instructions for payment see Tuition fee.

The candidates applying for admission to the first year of integrated academic studies of Pharmacy will take an admission exam in chemistry in English. The time and date of the exam will be announced on this internet page timely and the applicants will be informed accordingly.

The candidate who has passed the admission exam and is ranked within the admission quota of this call has the right to be admitted. The candidates’ order for enrollment in the first year is determined based on the overall success from secondary education, paired with the results achieved in the entrance exam. A candidate for the study program can score a total of 100 points based on the overall success from secondary education and the entrance exam results. The proposed candidate ranking list is made by the Commission, appointed by the Dean (the President of which is the Vice Dean for Education) for the realization of this call.

The candidates may file a complaint against the proposed ranking list in the period within 24 hours of its public announcement. The Dean then decides about the complaint, announces the final ranking list on the web page, and notices the Board of Faculty. The admission of candidates will take place in the period of seven days after the announcement of the final ranking list. If a candidate who has gained the right to be admitted is not admitted till the end of the admission period, the Faculty will admit the next candidate from the final ranking list. The tuition fee for one school year is five thousand (5.000) Euros.

The applications for this call, with all the required documentation, are submitted before June 15th (for admission exam in June) and July 2nd (for admission exam in July).

Admission requirements

Completed full secondary education – candidates must provide the legalized high school certificate and transcript (officially translated into English).

Passing written admission exam (entrance test) in chemistry in the English language.

Good knowledge of the English language is obligatory.

  1. Admission exam

The admission exam is in chemistry in English language. The applicants must pass the test to be eligible to study program in Pharmacy.

  1. Registration

The candidate who has passed the admission exam and is ranked within the admission quota of this call has the right to be admitted to a study program in Pharmacy. Registration procedure of accepted candidates requires following;

  1. Two Photographs.
  2. Student’s Course and Grade Book (“Index”).
  3. Student’s Registration Form (“ŠV Obrazac”)
  4. Proof of payment of the tuition fee (2.500 Euro, half of total tuition fee) for the first semester of studies (Payment instructions are received directly from the Office of Student Affairs).
  5. Medical health certificate (detailed instruction will be provided by the Office of Student Affairs)
  6. Health insurance for the current academic year (international health Insurance, issued in student’s own country, or in Serbia by relevant insurance company)
  7. Students’ visa issued by the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
  8. Proof of payment for the 100 EUR application fee (Payment instructions are received directly from the Office of Student Affairs upon submission of documents).

Admission exam

The admission exam is in chemistry in English language. The applicants must pass the test to be eligible to study program in Pharmacy.

Important dates

The admission exams will be organized in June and July:

1) June 22nd (the deadline for submission of documents is June, 15th)

2) July 9th (the deadline for submission of documents is July, 2nd)

The admission exam will be held online. Instructions will be sent 48 hours before the exam.
